How Untoxing works
We do the research. You decide what matters.
Nobody avoids every exposure in modern life, and nobody’s handing out gold stars for trying. We just make sure you’re choosing with good information.
- ResearchWe read the studies, reviews and agency reports, not the loudest post in your feed.
- PerspectiveEvery topic gets an Untoxing Priority: how much it deserves a spot on your worry list.
- OptionsRealistic choices at different levels of cost and effort, including keeping what you have.
The Untoxing Priority
Not everything deserves the same worry.
Every topic gets one of four ratings, based on the strength of the evidence, how much you’re really exposed, how much changing would help, and how much effort it takes. Because your worry budget is limited.
- Don't Worry About ItThe concern doesn't hold up at normal exposure, or changing would barely move the needle. Keep using it. Save your worry for something that deserves it.
- Swap When It's TimeA real but modest concern. No need to toss something that works. When it wears out or runs out, pick a better option.
- Easy WinA small, cheap change with a real upside. Low effort, low regret. Worth doing soon, mostly because it's so easy.
- PrioritizeSolid evidence, real exposure and a meaningful payoff from changing. This one's worth your time and money now.
