We collect as little as possible. No accounts, no newsletter (yet), no analytics tracking. Here’s the whole story.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our web host automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These logs are used for security and keeping the site running.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we’ll have your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t run ad-tracking or analytics cookies on this site.
Cookies and third parties
- Amazon. Some links go to Amazon through the Amazon Associates program. When you click one, Amazon may set cookies in your browser so it can tell that the visit came from us and credit us for qualifying purchases. That data is handled under Amazon’s Privacy Notice.
- Other websites. We link to studies, agencies and other sites. Once you leave Untoxing, their privacy policies apply.
- Fonts. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Site functionality. WordPress, the software this site runs on, only sets cookies for people logged in to manage the site. Regular readers don’t need to log in.
Kids
Untoxing is written for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and questions
If we add something like analytics or a newsletter, we’ll update this page first. Questions about privacy: hello@untoxing.com.
